Recognized at Victory Day Inter Hepatology Indoor Games 2023

On December 16, 2023, I received an award at the Victory Day Inter Hepatology Indoor Games 2023, hosted by the BSMMU Hepatology Alumni Association. This vibrant event honored Bangladesh’s hard-won independence with spirited competition and national pride.

Celebrating National Pride and Unity

First, the opening ceremony set a powerful tone. Athletes and medical professionals marched together, waving flags and cheering. Moreover, the spirited games highlighted the unbreakable bond between sport and service to the nation. The crowd’s energy reminded everyone why Victory Day remains a cornerstone of our identity.

Bridging Sports and Medical Communities

Furthermore, the Inter Hepatology Games uniquely combined physical skill with medical expertise. Doctors, nurses, and researchers competed alongside athletes in events ranging from table tennis to relay races. By fostering these connections, the BSMMU Alumni Association reinforced its mission: promote collaboration, encourage wellness, and strengthen community ties.

Commitment to Sportsmanship and Collaboration

As the Founder & Chairman of the Bangladesh Professional Boxing Society, I applaud this initiative. It underscores my ongoing efforts to promote sportsmanship and forge meaningful partnerships between athletic and medical communities. Therefore, receiving this award carried deep significance—it recognized not only my individual contributions but also the collective progress we’ve achieved.

“Sport unites us; service defines us. Today, we celebrated both,” I remarked in my acceptance speech, emphasizing the event’s dual purpose.

Looking Forward: Advancing Sports in Bangladesh

Finally, this award motivates me to expand such cross-sector events. I plan to collaborate with medical organizations and sports federations to host more integrated competitions. By doing so, we will enhance public health, spotlight emerging talent, and boost Bangladesh’s reputation on the global stage.
