About Md. Asaduzzaman
Md. Asaduzzaman, a Bangladeshi citizen, has been actively involved in professional boxing since 1991. Over his 35-year career, he has served as a pro boxing coach, mentor, and promoter in countries like the Philippines, Italy, China, and the United States. Some of his key contributions include:
- First Professional Boxing Competition in Bangladesh: Organized at BKSP Boxing Gymnasium, Savar, Dhaka, on November 20, 2020. Subsequently, on February 26, 2021, he arranged the first international professional boxing event in Bangladesh, featuring boxers from India.
- International Roles: Serving as the Chairman of WBBU (World Boxing Bodies Union) in China, an Associate Member of WBC (World Boxing Council) in Mexico, and GAB (Games and Amusement Board) in the Philippines.
- Founder & President of BPBA: Leading the Bangladesh Professional Boxing Association (BPBA).
- Founder and President of BPBS: Established and currently leads the Bangladesh Professional Boxing Society (BPBS), the first boxing-sanctioned body in Bangladesh, recognized internationally.
